At long last, the premiere of my CMT show is upon us. CMT Comedy Stage, Episode 106 will premiere Friday, April 27 at 9pm ET/PT (That's THIS Friday night). Also appearing will be John Heffron and Tommy Johnagin. John was the winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing, Season II. Tommy, according to Shecky Magazine, is a finalist on this year's "LCS".

Comedy Stage is developing quite a following on CMT and has recently been the network's second highest rated show (nothing beats The Dukes of Hazzard!).

The show is going to be a nice property for CMT (we got a lot of promotion during the 2007 CMT Music Awards show) and should be around for some time to come. I'm pushing for a CMT Comedy Stage Tour (coming soon to a State Fair near you), but that's a story for another newsletter.

While the program premieres at 9 Friday night, CMT is a cable outfit and that means they will play this show again and again. You can see me on :
